Great service & product delivery. I had a special needs for an extra wide & high doggy door needed for my flyscreen, as I wasn't able to use a size off the rack to add to a glass door, &living in a retirement village would have meant waiting months for approval/rejection. Flys we're coming everywhere. Thanks Michael for answering my screen needs. Very professional. so now I have no flies, the screen has a fly mesh curtain on the doggy door. Yay!for approvalfor

I don’t normally do reviews but really wanted to give a huge shout out to these guys for absolutely top service and quality product. We live in apartment and had Bayside install retractable fly screens to our doors and windows before Christmas and they are a game changer!! Wes, the owner came out and did a free measure and quote and within 3 weeks we had them installed. The process from quote to install was prompt and professional. The short review: Bayside delivers a top quality product and keeps their deadlines no matter what with a price that was excellent.For greater detail supporting that, then read on...Bayside Security Doors and screens did an absolutely fantastic job on replacing all my flyscreen doors (top balcony and back yard - 5 doors total) plus once i saw their security doors i opted to swap those in for my downstairs flyscreens.Sent my email inquiry in the AM and they contacted me the same day then immediately arranged a measure a couple of days later. I had a quote the next AM waiting for me.Not knowing anything about security doors (having been an apt dweller my whole life and this being my first real house) i was invited to the showroom to see the finished products and options in the factory. Wes took his time explaining the manufacturing and different grades of screening and frames. After comparing Bayside’s security doors to Crimsafe, they were exactly the same sturdiness and quality but without the “name brand” price/penalty. Easy to make my decision on the spot. Then looking at the aluminium grades for the flyscreens i was impressed with the visibility and durability of the product. Even their security mesh has better visibility than most of the flyscreen mesh i saw on the market.They quoted me 3 weeks and were spot on their delivery date. Upon install, it was discovered that the original builder skimped on the track guide for the top of the frame attached to the house. They had a solution immediately (which was to retrofit a top bubble guide into the frame which removed the significant annoying wind wobble (i thought that was just normal). When i offered for them to come back to handle the unexpected issue, Wes immediately insisted they guaranteed the date and RETURNED later in the day with the parts and did the retrofit. The end result was zero gap and incredibly smooth action on the doors. The precision was perfect. Not so much as a rattle.I’d strongly recommend them for any sliding security / flyscreen door solution. And if and when the time comes my shower doors need replacing (or i just get bored with them), I know who i’m going to call. Recently I had 3 security doors installed (front door and two sliding, one a double). Everything went well, service through to install. There was a small defect in the installation which was resolved within 24 hours on a Saturday morning. Bayside will say they can install the doors without you being home (only requiring 5 minutes in the house). I didn't feel comfortable with this and was glade I held out as the installer required much more than 5 minutes in the house and I also had dogs to secure. We also got a doggy door, we didn't ask for a specific, assumed it would have a locking mechanism from inside and out and it did not. Not the fault of the company but more of an assumption on my behalf. Overall I would definitely use Bayside again.

Ron and his team are highly recommended. Our doors and screens are really difficult sizes and the finished product is first class.Our neighbors with an identical townhouse are still waiting for the their order from another Geelong supplier AND are paying a lot more!Bayside are a terrific local supplier.

We built 9 years ago and had Ron come and install aluminium security doors. We were so impressed with the service and quality/durability of the work that when we recently built again I didn't bother going anywhere else for a quote we went straight to Bayside. This time we had the crimsafe doors installed on the front, laundry, garage and alfresco. Bayside have the best service, price and quality in Geelong.
